Residences & Facilities

A historic settingfor modern school life.

CCI is woven into the historic centre of Lanciano: one school, three residences, our own dining room and fitness centre, and the town’s sporting and cultural facilities close at hand.

The school

A 14th-century palazzoequipped for learning today.

The main school building began as an aristocratic residence and later served as a Canadian headquarters during the Second World War. Today, four floors of classrooms and study spaces open onto its vaulted, light-filled central atrium.

Behind the historic façade are fibre-optic connectivity, interactive classroom displays, a well-equipped science laboratory and an infirmary. Students also gather here each weekday morning for breakfast and announcements.

A practical note: Lanciano is a historic hill town, and the school occupies a multi-storey heritage building with stairs. Families with mobility or accessibility needs are encouraged to speak with Admissions so individual arrangements can be discussed.

Dining & student life

Most meals are served in CCI’s own mensa and restaurant at Allegria, a 500-year-old former inn. It gives the school community a table of its own, within a building that is part of Lanciano’s history.

The student lounge nearby is open to boys and girls. It is a relaxed setting for foosball competitions, table tennis tournaments, PlayStation, karaoke parties, Student Council events and movie nights by the pellet stove.

Facilities & activities

Our campus extendsinto the community.

CCI has its own fitness centre, while Lanciano gives students access to a much broader network of sporting and cultural facilities. The result is an active daily life without trying to reproduce an entire town behind school gates.
