Venice - Day One

Though it rained that first day, it didn't dampen our spirits at all. After a long bus ride we ventured a walking tour of the town. We snaked our way through the narrow streets to the famous St. Mark's Square, stopping for photo opts as often as possible. 

Later that evening we regrouped at our hotel, the Hotel Principe, located on the Grand Canal. There we shared a dinner together before giving our students free time to explore the city at night, as we looked forward to the coming days.
