Venice 2019 - Day 3

 

Verona is only about one and a half hours from Venice. But first, we took a train off of the island to meet our bus. It's a fun ride in itself.

Verona is a gorgeous city with an ancient Roman arena at its centre. The town is also famous for, of course, the setting of Romeo and Juliet, and there's opportunity to visit "Juliet's balcony." It was perfect timing with Valentine's Day just around the corner.
