Venice 2019 - Day 2
We had a bit of a sleep-in on our second day. In the morning we took the students to Murano Island by boat, as no trip to Venice should be without a boat ride!
Murano Island is famous for its glass factories. We were fortunate enough to see a master making a vase and a decorative horse.
In the afternoon, students had the option of touring the Doge's Palace, or the Peggy Guggenheim Museum.
Meanwhile, I led a small group through the Museum of Natural History.
There was free time after our tours for students to continue their exploration of Venice, which for some, meant a ride on a gondola.
