Vatican

Last Saturday marked the final trip of the year. CCI returned to Rome, this time to visit the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's. Meanwhile a smaller group headed to the Capitoline Museums.

Our teachers led the tours through the museums. Below, are photos taken in the courtyards of the Vatican.

While the Vatican holds some of the most impressive artworks, equally impressive are the decorated ceilings and frescoed walls.

Into the map room, we stopped to notice a familiar town.

We then headed into St. Peter's to witness some truly magnificent architecture.

Exams start this Saturday, followed by Christmas holidays. While it will be difficult to say goodbye next week, I know everyone is excited for time off, and to be with family.
