Trip to the Tremiti Islands

Last Saturday CCI went on a trip to the Tremiti Islands. We first headed south to Termoli, then took the ferry over to San Domino. San Domino is the largest of the islands and it is here where we spent most of the day swimming and enjoying the clear blue water.

Before relaxing at the beach, we took a boat to the smaller island of San Nicola.

A short climb to the top of the island brought us to the site of the monastery.

Once there, we enjoyed gorgeous views of the Adriatic and, of course, took the opportunity to take pictures. I don't know why we keep throwing our hands up in group photos, it just happens.

In all, it was a very successful trip and a great way for students to solidify new friendships.
