Today, CCI got to experience the magnificent woods of Parco Naturale della Majella. Students and staff got to enjoy the fun ropes course held high up in the trees. The trip started off when we climbing onto the hour-long bus ride to take us to our destination. The ride was filled with music, friends and conversation. As soon as we arrived, and put on the required equipment, we ran straight to the trees. Students was divided into various groups, so that each group would be able to do as many courses as possible. The fresh, crisp air was refreshing and a welcomed break from the warm air we have all grown accustomed to in Lanciano. The time we had to complete the courses we wanted was two hours, and I know everyone can agree that with all the fun we were having, the two hours instead felt like 30 minutes. We could have stayed longer which was why all of us were so sad to leave the beautiful forest of the Majella. To thank our fabulous bus driver, Fabio, we all made sure to wipe our shoes clean, as to not track any dirt onto his lovely vehicle. (He seemed quite pleased). On the way back down to Lanciano from the mountain, the students enjoyed some more fun music, chatting and getting to know one another even more. After arriving back to school from that much needed bonding trip, staff and students headed to the Allegria to enjoy a wonderful dinner. Needless to say, CCI’s trip to the parco naturale was an incredible experience for the whole school; it only made everyone more excited for the rest of our time at Canadian College Italy. Can’t wait to explore all the other places CCI is taking us in the future.
