Most of our students arrived this Saturday. I was very happy to meet those families who made the journey to Lanciano; for many, it was quite a distance!
Our orientation started that evening, with a tour of the town, which followed our first dinner together prepared by Olga and Mr. C.
The next day, we hit the beach for some fun team-building activities and our annual tug-o-war. This was followed by free time for the students to get to know each other better and continue to form strong bonds.
After the activities, our students seemed even more excited for the upcoming year, and it was clear to see that close friendships were already being formed.
On Monday morning, we will run more formal orientation stations at the school for students to learn about the culture of Lanciano, our extracurricular activities, important rules and policies, educational pathways, and general safety procedures.
In the afternoon, teachers will be introducing their courses and getting to learn more about our students.
I look forward to sharing this year will all of you!
