Orientation Days

Orientation Days

Most of our students arrived this Saturday. I was very happy to meet those families who made the journey to Lanciano; for many, it was quite a distance.

Our orientation started that evening, as our teachers, returning students, and an alumna, led a tour of this beautiful city.

On Sunday, we ran more formal orientation stations at the school, for students to learn about the culture of Lanciano, our extracurricular activities, important rules and policies, educational pathways, and general safety procedures.

We held morning classes on Monday, where teachers introduced their courses and got to learn more about our students. That afternoon we hit the beach for some fun team-building activities and our annual tug-o-war, followed by free time for the students to get to know each other better and continue to form strong bonds.

Today was our first full day of classes and we are now getting into the swing of things here at CCI.

Next weekend we have our first day-trip planned as we head to the Tremiti Islands for a boat tour, swimming, and exploration. I will be sure to share more photos and stories from the day.

I’m looking forward to another exciting year at CCI!
