October 6 is a sacred day for the people of Lanciano as they honour a group of young men who during the Nazi occupation of Lanciano, tried to resist them. They were massacred as a penalty and as a warning to others.
Our students were invited by the Mayor of Lanciano to participate in the ceremony.
On Sunday, two of our teachers and two of our students participated in an annual charity run.
On Monday, Mr. C. along with the Allegria staff prepared a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving turkey dinner which was enjoyed by all.
