Last weekend, all of our students and faculty were travelling to or in Italy to start the second semester at CCI. It was a glorious sunny day on Sunday.
Later on that afternoon, the luggage truck arrived in advance of the CCI bus. It was a happy reunion and a warm welcome for our new students and our newest Faculty Member, Ms. Ringham.
After taking their luggage to the residences, the students gathered for dinner at the Allegria. The evening was spent unpacking and getting some much needed sleep.
Breakfast each weekday is made and served in the school.

Dinner is served at the Allegria. As with the food at the Mercato, all of the ingredients are obtained within about 15 km. of the school. As the Italians do not use fertilizers or have need of preservatives, all the food is very fresh and delicious.
Each weekday evening, the students have supervised study hall in the residences and in the school.
This has been a week of settling in to school routines and those in the residences as well as getting over jet lag!
