Admissions at a glance

What families usually
ask us first.

There is plenty to consider when a child will be studying in another country. These are three of the practical questions we hear most often.

What are the application deadlines?

CCI accepts applications on a rolling basis, subject to available space. For priority consideration, especially for families requesting financial aid, we recommend applying by January for September entry and by September for a January start.

Will my child need a visa?

Students who do not hold an EU passport generally require an Italian study visa. CCI provides the necessary school documents and guides families through the consulate application process, timelines and next steps.

How many students does CCI admit?

CCI is a close-knit community of approximately 100 students, primarily from Canada, the United States and Mexico, as well as Europe and other parts of the world. With roughly 40 per cent of students graduating each year, only about 40 new places become available.

Visa requirements can vary according to citizenship, residency and program length. Families should confirm the requirements that apply to them with the appropriate Italian consulate.

How to Apply

We begin by getting to know
your child.

The application gives us the facts. The conversation helps us understand the person: their interests, needs, ambitions and readiness for life at CCI.

Applying to a boarding school in another country can feel like a lot. From your first questions through arrival day, you will have real people to speak with, clear information and personal help with every step.

A conversation first Ask questions, tell us about your child and decide whether CCI feels right.
A thoughtful review We consider the whole student, not simply a collection of documents and grades.
Help through arrival Our support continues with courses, visas, residence, travel and preparation.
