Financial Aid
Financial Aid at CCI
A CCI education may be
closer than you think.
We know that boarding-school tuition is a significant commitment. CCI offers scholarships and bursaries to help make the experience possible for students who will thrive here and contribute meaningfully to school life.
Financial aid decisions are thoughtful, personal and made by CCI’s Financial Aid Committee.
Two forms of support
Different circumstances.
The same careful consideration.
Scholarships
Recognizing merit.
Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, outstanding talent, meaningful extracurricular participation, good citizenship or leadership.
What a student has accomplished matters. So does what they are ready to do next.
Bursaries
Responding to financial need.
Bursaries support families with demonstrated financial need whose child also shows strong academic promise, good character and the potential to make a meaningful contribution to CCI.
Need is assessed confidentially. The student is considered as a whole person.
What we consider
We are looking for students
who will make the most of CCI.
Grades tell us part of the story. We also consider a student’s character, interests, talents, leadership, participation and willingness to become an active member of the school community.
The application process
Three pieces help us
understand the full picture.
Families should begin the financial aid process at the same time as the student’s application to CCI.
Financial assessment
Complete the confidential household-income assessment through Apple Financial Services.
Academic evidence
Provide school records and other evidence that helps demonstrate the student’s academic merit.
Personal statement
The student submits a short statement of approximately 500 words describing their qualities, skills and values.
Independent and confidential
Financial information is handled
with care.
Apple Financial Services provides CCI’s Financial Aid Committee with an independent and confidential assessment of a family’s ability to contribute toward their child’s education.
The assessment can take up to four weeks, so families are strongly encouraged to submit it alongside the admissions application.
Start the conversation
Do not rule CCI out
before you ask.
If CCI feels like the right school for your child, speak with our Admissions Team. We will explain the process clearly and help you understand what information is required.
