About Canadian College Italy

Founded in 1995, CCI was built on a simple but ambitious idea: pair a rigorous Canadian education with the life-changing experience of living in Italy.
We are an international boarding school built on trust, structure and meaningful relationships. Students are known well, challenged thoughtfully and supported as they grow into capable, confident young adults.
Education here extends beyond the classroom. It unfolds through residence life, mentorship, travel and the everyday experience of belonging to a historic Italian community.

CCI’s campus is woven into the historic centre of Lanciano, a safe medieval town between the mountains and the Adriatic Sea. Students experience the structure of a traditional boarding school while becoming part of the rhythm of Italian life.
Regular travel across Italy deepens classroom learning, while ordinary moments in Lanciano build the language, confidence and cultural awareness that cannot be taught from a textbook.
